Obama’s Re-Election {Effects on Pakistan & Middle East}

A short Analysis
Obama's first term was evident by a harsh decline of relations between Pakistan and the US, Most of the Pakistanis wished Mr. Obama to be re elected because they considered him as a peaceful and mediator but it’s not that true, and it can be seen from past incidents. He did not change his stance in case of Raymond Davis case, killing of 26 Pakistanis at Salala and even hi did not took Pakistan in to confidence about May 2 operation for Osama Bin Ladin. All these issues were dealt by Obama who was not at all peaceful or mediator. As Pakistani Leader Imran Khan said that Obama‘s 1st term had been very tough on Pakistan because of increase in drone attacks and a rush towards Afghanistan. Obama victory is likely to increase pressure on the Pakistani establishment to assist US objectives in Afghanistan.
Now there is some anxiety. There are worries of more drones, more demands, a sense that Obama was going to be bad for Pakistan, but if Romney was elected, He was much more likely to declare war on Iran, and that would have been a ruin for Pakistan and the Middle East as he said that the Palestinians were not interested in peace, and the US should just “kick the problem into the long grass”. and  on the other hand Barack Obama, soon after the election made a major address to the Muslim world from Cairo. The focus of his moving speech was the promise to use American pressure to re-start the peace process.   So this was a game between bad or worse so bad won. Some people say that electing a known was better than electing quite unknown.
Its US strategy that they don’t change policies of previous govt. behind the scenes, American international relations will no doubt persist to be heatedly. The start of the second term is probable to be anxious with more of the same, international efforts to remove insurgents by force or cooperation or both.

Threats to Muslim Ummah

Threats to Muslim Ummah

• Arab Oil
• Lack of unity
• Sectarianism
• Ideological threats
• Blasphemous attacks
• US Influence and occupation
• Economic and social disaster
• Check and balance on Media
• Jihadist Militants/extremism
• Western Civilization and culture
• Killing under clash of civilization
• Indo-Israel relations, the biggest threat
• Tarnishing the Muslims and Islam’s image
• No nuclear Energy even for peaceful needs

The world of Islam today is passing through a critical period of its history. Muslims are confronted with many problems and find themselves in an indeterminate state, between aspirations and despair. Muslims, therefore, need to locate the key problems and threats that Muslim nation (Muslim Ummah) faces today and identify their duties.
Islam is facing many problems and threats and the biggest threat is tarnishing Islamic culture and civilization. Non Muslim forces are trying their best and putting all their efforts to make Muslims reluctant of their Islamic culture and in this way West is promoting their own culture, thoughts and ideas.
Ideological challengers of Islam – Marxism, communism and socialism – have been eliminated from the historical arena. They once represented major challenges to Islam in Muslim countries. Today they have been defeated by the realities in the world, and in the process, Islam has re-emerged as the dominant political force in the Muslim world. Today, the enemies of Islam and the Muslim Ummah are using two main weapons against is: threats and subversion. Sometimes they intimidate governments and intellectuals, elites, organizations and individuals with threats and shows of power; other times they subvert them with bribes and incentives.
Extremism is also a threat to Muslims as they are painting hard image of Islam ignoring completely that Islam is a religion of peace and love not killing brutally and spreading violence, due to these militants Islam is now considered a religion of violence, poverty, and uncivilized people. Another major threat is US influence and occupation as US is now enjoying super power position, so she is destroying Muslim nations and countries to get access to their resources as it happened in Iraq and Afghanistan. The main and important resource of Arab world is Oil so Arab Oil is the main reason of attraction and invasion to these countries making these countries paralyzed socially and economically. Western media is also promoting hatred against Islam and spreading wrong image of Islam among them.
Muslim countries are totally relying on their resources and not doing any remarkable in science and technology, or other manufacturing so they are lacking behind economically . Latin America and Asia have shifted away from reliance on exporting natural resources towards manufacturing and services. The Middle East, however, still depends on oil. Today, the United States imports about US$5 billion worth of manufactured goods and farm products from the twenty two members of the Arab League, Afghanistan and Iran combined. This amount is equivalent to 50% of the imports of the United States from Hong Kong alone. The combined non-oil exports of Middle Eastern and North African countries is about US$40 billion per year, which is lower than that of Finland. For all the talk of diversifying away from oil, Saudi Arabia has only two main exports: crude oil and related gas based petro-chemicals. Together, they comprise 80% of the total annual revenue of the country.
Among Muslim ummah Pakistan is only nuclear country and no other country is allowed to get nuclear energy even for peaceful needs. Most Muslim countries consider Israel the biggest threat as it is promoting violence in the region, with the passage of time Indo-Israel relations are increasing resulting a disturbing condition among Muslim countries.
The main threat which is the greatest threat to Muslims is lack of unity and division into different groups like Muslims are divided into Sunni, wahabi, Shia and further every branch is divided into more sub groups, the sad thing in this regard is that every group is enemy of other and call itself true believer while other as Kafir. When Muslims are not united how could they face the outer threats? In this situation Non believers take advantage and blasphemous attacks are done to annoy Muslims.
